The Orchid Mantis

When she was fifteen, Althea was attacked and almost killed at a house party. To protect her privacy and help her rebuild her life, her parents changed her name and sent her away to live with relatives. Althea and her family believe those responsible for the attack got away with it. Ten years later, Althea has come back home. She says she wants to put her past behind her and live an ordinary life like everyone else. Her father, who still seethes over what happened, runs into Jazmine, the young woman who set up his daughter. With Jazmine so close, what exactly does moving on mean to Althea and her loved ones?
